2015 APRIL SAT PRACTICE TESTS
Tests and Reviews offered in: Newington CT, New Haven CT, Manhattan NY, Boston MA & Philadelphia PA. Online tests will be offered to students whose test is under-enrolled or are located in other areas.
Use your April wisely and help your student become familiar with the SAT, by registering for a Free Practice Test!
Ivy Bound is offering free proctored practice tests on April 4, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, & 26. Students will receive a score at the end of the test and will be able to call in on the Sunday night of their practice test weekend for a review.

Calendar of Events
April 1 – final class start for the June ACT.
April 4, 11, 18, 25 – Newington CT, 8:00am – 12 noon. Practice Tests, open to all at no charge. Students may choose SAT or ACT. Students get a score, keep the tests, and have a review session by phone the following evening.
April 5 – Everywhere. “Know the SAT / Understanding College Admissions” seminar featuring planning for 2017 grads. We address what parents of 7th – 10th graders should plan for. 9:15pm eastern.
April 12 – 15 – Everywhere. Final class starts for the May SAT Subject Tests.
April 12, 19, 26 – everywhere, 2 – 6pm eastern. Practice Tests, open to all. Students may choose SAT or ACT. Students receive the test in advance, get proctored for a full-length test, receive a score, keep the tests, and may attend a review session by phone that evening (9:15 – 10:55pm eastern). No charge for the multiple choice. If wanting essays graded it’s $50 for two essays, which can be submitted by email any time in April.
April 26 – Farmington CT, 1 – 230pm. Parent Conference for parents of ambitious 6th – 9th graders, with Cynthia Whipple, Ellen Hoffman, and Mark Greenstein.
May 4 – 8. Last Kids Corner Classes of the academic year begin. Summer Kids Corner classes start in late June.
May 6. Elizabeth NJ. Parent & Student Seminar for 10th graders, with Mark Greenstein. Closed, to all but Bruriah School families, but outsiders may call for an invitation.
May 7 – 9 – Baltimore. Ivy Bound Tutors and Staff available to Counselors at the IECA convention each afternoon, and each evening for parent seminars.
June 7 – Everywhere. “Know the SAT / Understanding College Admissions” seminar. We specially address “How to Get The Most” out of an Ivy Bound summer ACT/SAT prep course. 9:15pm eastern.
June 29 – Darien CT. First week of five Ivy Bound weeks with Darien Summer School.
July 6 – Everywhere. First day for many Ivy Bound Summer SAT and ACT Prep classes.
August 1 – “Boot Camp” begins for ACT and SAT intensive August prep students.
August 2 – Everywhere. “Know the SAT / Understanding College Admissions” seminar. We specially address “How to Get The Most” out of an Ivy Bound August AP class preview. 9:15pm eastern.
August 10 – Cambridge MA and Newington CT. First day for Ivy Bound’s English Improvement Boot Camp for Chinese Students.
August 17 – Everywhere. First day for most Ivy Bound AP Prep Course previews.
September 1 – 4 – Everywhere. College Admissions class for parents of seniors. 9:05 – 10:15pm eastern ($250 for the four-session class; $0 for Ivy Bound College Planning Clients).
September 8 – New York, CT, and MA. First Kids Corner classes begin for committed K – 8 schools.
October 4 – Everywhere. “Know the SAT / Understanding College Admissions” seminar. We specially address School Success Strategies, for grades 6 – 9. 9:15pm eastern.
October 14 & 17 – PSAT given. Ivy Bound “DeComposing/De-Fragging” sessions with all current students to discuss all new changes in evidence meet at 5pm eastern.
December 6 – Everywhere. “Know the SAT / Understanding College Admissions” seminar. We specially address “What College Guidance Counselors SHOULD have told your kids by now”. 9:15pm eastern.
January 23, 2016 – Final offering for the current SAT.
March 13, 2016 – First offering of the “New” SAT.
