What Ivy Bound Clients Can Expect - Help Line
Dear Parents and Students:
Here's the run for this month and beyond.
- Help Line. We have been running since early July and expect to have all our SAT and PSAT students joining on some Tuesday and Thursday nights. Help Line is at 9:15pm eastern at 218-339-4600 passcode 705436 for the rest of 2012.
- Expanded Help Line. For the one month leading to the October SAT, Sept 4 - Oct 4, we will hold Help Line for SIX hours a night, from 6:15pm eastern until after midnight (to 12:25am eastern, 9:20pm Pacific). Serious students now have no excuse not to pick up the phone for 10 - 15 minutes on some of these nights.
On Critical Reading nights (Tuesdays) we will skew toward Sentence Completions in the "even" hours 6, 8, 10, and 12a, and Reading comp in the "odd hours" of 7, 9, and 11 eastern.
On Math nights (Thursdays) we will skew toward easy and medium problems (in the Official SAT Study Guide) in the "even" hours of 6, 8, 10, and 12a, and hard problems in "odd hours" of 7, 9, and 11 eastern.
There is no fee for use in the Sept 4 - Oct 4 period. And remember all students have two free trials for use before August 31.
- Super-expanded Help Line. We are offering Help Line with video. This will be free to everybody who uses it regularly (3x a month or more). You will email us your preference for Skype, Go-to-Meeting, ooVoo, Google-chat, or Twiddla and the times you are available (Mon thru Fri in the 6:15p - 12:20am block are the choices). Email email@example.com by Aug 20 and we will pick one or two modes of meeting and at least two mutually good times.
In over eight years of offering Help Line, NEVER has a student who regularly used Help Line improved fewer than 110 points (Math and CR combined). Make this the month you get on a path to similar success!
