Thank you for your interest in Ivy Bound. We're proud to offer exceptional tutors for the SSAT and ISEE. We have helped students on any level to SSAT and ISEE success.
Our instructors attend, or are recent graduates of, the nation's top universities, and thoroughly enjoy teaching teens. For SSAT we take the appropriate portions of the SAT course, and supplement it with coaching to question types that are on the SSAT but not the SAT. We license as many real SSAT questions as possible, but since that is still quite limited, we assign practice tests in The Princeton Review book, ARCO or REI as a supplement.

Private tutoring usually takes place at your home, although we are happy to meet at schools or libraries if you prefer, on a mutually agreeable schedule. Whether a student needs only verbal or only math help, or a full SSAT course, we are eager to help with one-on-one attention to your child's needs. We are also pleased to accommodate gender and/or experience preferences wherever possible.
For private ISEE tutoring, there is a one time materials, licensing, and enlistment fee of $550, and all other charges are done on a per/hour basis. Tutor's rates vary depending on experience. For a full course, we usually tell parents to plan on 25 - 35 hours with a tutor, depending on the pace of the student. The materials fee is paid before tutoring begins, and you are billed for the tutor's visits at the end of each month.
