Tutors have to love learning, but they must love seeing someone else learn even more. They have to be smart, but have to be even better at communicating concepts. I've tutored enough students to know that there isn't a one size fits all approach to tutoring, and I love the challenge of figuring out the best approach for each unique student.

I make a sincere effort to become friends with the kids I tutor; I want them to be comfortable texting me at 9pm if they have a question. A good tutor is someone your kid will respect, but also someone with whom your kid enjoys learning.
