I have nearly ten years of classroom teaching experience, as well as professional experience in a variety of fields, from stage directing to brand strategy. I received my B.A. from Harvard University (1991) and M.S. in Education from Bank Street College in New York City (2005).
One way to succeed on a test is to understand the thinking of the test designers. I try to help students see the purpose behind test preparation, and refine their judgment in a time-pressured situation. I believe the SAT is a valuable exercise for the mind, regardless of its significance for college admission, and I encourage students to approach it that way.
