Beyond the Classroom

Resources for Maximizing Scores

These resources are included for those participating in the Ivy Bound program. Students who take advantage of one or more are likely to score even higher.

Proctored Practice Tests and Live Online Review

Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons two weekends a month, students can closely emulate real test conditions and time constraints. Review is Sunday evening at 8:15p Eastern with an Ivy Bound tutor to walk through difficult sections.

Live Extra Help via Zoom

If you encounter difficulty on a home study or practice test problem, drop in to a Zoom extra help session where a tutor will be ready to set you back on track. These take place at 8:00pm Eastern every Wednesday for all sections of the SAT and ACT.

Online Parent Seminars

Students and parents are helped by proper planning.  Ivy Bound instructors give monthly lectures online and can visit any parent group of 15 or more families who wish to learn about the ACT, SAT, AP and IB classes, the Ivy Bound Course, and other college admissions-related topics. Join here via Zoom on the first Sunday of every even month (Feb, Apr, Jun, etc.)
