About me
Hi! I’m Caroline, and I’m excited to work with Ivy Bound students and families. I’m a graduate of Boston College, where I studied Psychology and Economics. During my time at BC, I developed a strong interest in how people learn and the strategies that help students approach challenging material with confidence.
I currently work in business development in New York City for a healthcare organization. In my work and tutoring, I enjoy breaking down complex problems into clear, manageable steps and helping students build the skills they need to succeed.
As a tutor, my goal is to make test prep feel approachable and supportive while helping students gain confidence in their abilities. I’m looking forward to working together and helping students reach their goals!
Education
Boston College (Chestnut Hills, MA)

Scores & Expertise
Scores:
I scored a 1510 on the SAT (790 Reading and Writing, 720 Math). In addition, I received strong AP scores, including a 5 on AP Statistics, AP Psychology, and AP French, and a 4 on AP Calculus AB and AP U.S. History.
Expertise :
My tutoring strengths include SAT preparation, psychology, economics, K–12 math, science, reading and writing, and essay development. I also have experience supporting students with college readiness, including brainstorming and revising college essays, scholarship essays, and application preparation.
Beyond traditional academic subjects, I enjoy helping students build confidence in skills such as public speaking, theater performance, and clear written communication. My goal is to help students not only master the material but also develop the strategies and confidence they need to succeed academically.
Hobbies
Outside of tutoring and work, I enjoy theater performance, psychology research, traveling, running, cooking, and attending concerts. I love bringing curiosity and enthusiasm to everything I do, and I try to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities.
