About me
Hi! My name is Ryan Miller, and I am a current student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign studying Biochemistry and minoring in Chemistry and Political Science. I am also on the Pre-Law Track and intend to pursue a Juris Doctorate. At my University, I am in the honors program, I work as a Chemistry TA and Tutor, I conduct undergraduate research on neurobiological pathways in marine invertebrates, and I am a member of the Student Conduct Committee. Outside of my University, I have worked with multiple members of Congress, I work for a startup that uses AI to predict natural disasters, and I am looking forward to an internship with some Prosecutor's Offices. As a former IvyBound student, I know how daunting these subjects and tests can seem, and I have learned many strategies to help myself and others master them. I have always loved working with students and helping them reach their full potential, and I look forward to working with you!
Since my Freshman year of high school, I have tutored students in all different math subjects. At my university, I am a General Chemistry Teaching Assistant, so I instruct a discussion section, hold office hours, and prepare review materials to help students understand difficult concepts. I am also an Organic Chemistry Tutor and private piano & violin teacher.
