Financial Literacy & Money Moves for Teens is a practical, real-world money course designed to help students build confidence with the financial decisions they will face in high school, college, and early adulthood.

Across four live Zoom sessions, students will learn the basics of banking, budgeting, credit, investing, taxes, and earning money as a teen. The course is designed to be clear, engaging, and useful right away, with practical examples students can actually apply.

Students will leave with a better understanding of how money works, how to avoid common financial mistakes, and how to start building smart habits early.

What Students Will Learn

How to open and manage a bank account and debit card
How credit scores work and how to start building credit responsibly
Budgeting basics, including the 50/30/20 rule and how to actually use it
An introduction to investing, including stocks, index funds, and compound interest
How teens can make money through freelancing, side hustles, part-time work, and more
Taxes 101, including what W-2s, 1099s, and filing actually mean
How to make smarter spending, saving, and planning decisions

In the event that you purchase a seat in a class that is under-enrolled and does not run, you are entitled to a refund of the initial purchase price.
